If you’ve started to notice signs of aging in your face—deep wrinkles on your cheeks, creases descending from your nose to the corners of your mouth, and sagging in the middle and lower portion of your face—you may be wondering about your surgical options. Caused by descent and redistribution of skin and fatty tissue, loss of skin elasticity and bone density, exposure to the elements, and genetics, these issues are usually best addressed with facial surgery – such as a facelift (rhytidectomy) or eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).
If you’re considering Clinic 805 for this important choice, you should know that we offer a holistic and carefully considered approach to cosmetic surgery; combining medical aesthetic treatments such as injectables, medical grade skincare, and laser and light therapies with expertly performed surgical procedures. We’ll work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to achieve the very best results possible. Here’s what that might look like for you.
Before your surgery.
During your initial consultation, your surgeon will assess your condition and concerns in order to determine the best approach to achieving your desired results. A 3D VECTRA® image of your face will be taken at this stage. You will also meet with a medical aesthetics nurse, who will review your VISIA® Skin Analysis with you to educate you on your overall skin health. Our approach will entail an effective medical grade skincare routine prescribed 6-8 weeks prior to your surgery to ensure that your skin is as healthy as possible prior to surgery for maximized results. Think of this step as “preparing the canvas”. Laser or light therapy treatments may also be recommended to even your complexion and soften wrinkles and/or lines around your mouth.
On your surgery day.
Our spacious facility houses everything you’ll need for a seamless surgical experience, from our peaceful admission rooms to our state of the art and fully accredited OR. After surgery, our dedicated team of Recovery Room nurses will tend to your needs with warmth and care, ensuring that you have ample time to rest and relax. When you’re ready to depart, we’ll escort you discreetly through a private back exit. Our facility is also connected to the well-appointed Parkside Hotel & Spa, allowing out of town guests to recover comfortably and conveniently.
After your surgery.
Six weeks after your surgery, we’ll invite you back to meet with a medical aesthetics nurse. At this stage, we can review injectable therapies such as BOTOX® and/or dermal fillers to maximize your overall result. We’ll reassess your skincare routine and review your facial surgery maintenance program.
In order to assist you in maintaining your surgical result, we extend a complimentary skin tightening treatment once every calendar year after the first anniversary of your surgery, yearly VISIA® and VECTRA® analyses to monitor your skin health and surgical result, as well as special pricing on skincare, injectables, and laser and light treatments. This is just one of the many ways we work with you to help maximize your results, not only during and after surgery but for years to come.
From your first consultation, through your surgery in our in-house OR, to healing and recovery, you will be guided through your individualized treatment plan with the assistance and compassion of our experienced staff. We really look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
