We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Aesthetic and Clinical Nurse Practitioner

Who we are looking for:

  • Nurse Practitioner with current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and with Active CPR ARD level C certification
  • Experience in aesthetic nursing
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Flexible, adaptive, enthusiastic personality
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assessment, educate and manage patients seeking aesthetic treatments
  • Work independently and in collaboration with plastic surgeons and aesthetic treatment providers
  • In office basic patient health assessment and treatment including preoperative history and physical exams, diagnosis of medical conditions, ordering of pertinent investigations and referral for specialist management where indicated
  • Evaluation of surgical patients perioperatively
  • Write prescriptions as required
  • Ensure appropriate patient follow up with review of investigative results, patient communications, and outcomes
  • Education as to the role of Aesthetic Medical and Surgical treatments for patients

The candidate should be prepared to:

  • Participate in ongoing CME, including ongoing in-house training as needed.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the efficiency and quality of services provided to maintain our high standards of patient care.
  • Assist in administrative audits, chart reviews, procedure, and policy maintenance.

Potential growth of practice functions based on experience and interests. No independent overhead.

Work Site: Clinic 805, 805 Fairfield Road, Victoria BC
Status: Permanent full-time or part-time position available
Hours: 0800-1600 (hours may vary slightly). No weekends.

Wages and Benefits: Starting at $78 (salary to commensurate with experience)
